Dr. Dorian Da Ros

Born and raised in Dawson Creek, BC, Dr. Dorian Da Ros completed his Bachelor of Science at University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2015 before pursuing his chiropractic education in Paris, France, graduating in 2020. After completing his studies, he returned to the Okanagan to serve the community he proudly calls home. Dr. Dorian is fluent in French and is pleased to offer care to French-speaking patients.
Dr. Dorian became a chiropractor to help people pursue a high quality of life — for themselves and those around them. He believes the body is far more adaptable and resilient than we often realize, and that with the right support it can overcome challenges and thrive. His approach is lifestyle-based and collaborative, encouraging patients to play an active role in their recovery and long-term health.
Dr. Dorian uses a wide range of techniques tailored to each individual’s needs and stage of healing. His approach may include precise manual adjustments, extremity adjusting, tonal work with breath integration, trigger point and ART-style muscle therapy, PNF activation and stretching, instrument-assisted techniques such as Activator and drop table, soft tissue scraping, and shockwave therapy.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find him hiking in the Rockies, rock climbing at a local crag, or enjoying time immersed in nature. When he’s not in the clinic, he also enjoys experimenting with amateur winemaking or composing music at the piano.

Dr. Nykaila Wheeler
(She/Her/Hers)

Dr. Nykaila Wheeler completed her chiropractic education at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, where she trained in a hands-on, neurologically focused program. Prior to that, she earned her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, building a strong foundation in human movement and biomechanics. She is trained in Diversified, Thompson Drop, Upper Cervical, Activator, and Gonstead techniques, allowing her to tailor care to each patient’s comfort level and individual needs.
Dr. Nykaila is passionate about helping patients be a little “greedy” with their health — encouraging people to move better, feel stronger, and reach their personal best. She takes a holistic, family-centered approach that looks beyond symptom relief to support long-term wellness. Her care is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping patients build sustainable habits that support real life — whether that means keeping up with kids, performing well at work, or enjoying everything the Okanagan has to offer.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her exploring town with her wife and their two dogs, Winky and Todd. In the summer she loves being near the water, and in the winter she’s usually convincing her Kiwi wife to brave the cold at the ski hill — ideally finishing the day with a great coffee and a good book.

Dr. Chris Garwah

Dr. Chris Garwah earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary in 1992 and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1997. After completing a year as a locum doctor in Australia and British Columbia, he and his wife, Dr. Nancy Garwah, established private practices in northern British Columbia. They owned and operated South Peace Chiropractic in Dawson Creek and Chetwynd for nearly two decades before relocating to the Okanagan and joining NuVista Chiropractic and Wellness in 2016.
Dr. Chris takes a wellness-focused approach to chiropractic care, helping patients build the strength, mobility, and resilience needed to live active, fulfilling lives. His care is collaborative and patient-centered, combining hands-on treatment with practical strategies to support long-term health. Having experienced the benefits of chiropractic care during his own athletic career, he is passionate about helping others overcome limitations and reach their personal goals.
Dr. Chris uses a variety of techniques to tailor care to each individual, including Diversified manual adjusting, Thompson Drop, Activator, Torque Release, MPI, Gonstead, NUCCA upper cervical, Active Release, and Shockwave Therapy.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Chris enjoys making the most of the Okanagan lifestyle. He can often be found mountain biking, skiing, swimming, weight training, hiking, or kiteboarding. A former member of Canada’s National Water Polo Team, he competed at the World Aquatic Championships and also represented Canada as an age-group athlete at the World Triathlon Championships. He and Dr. Nancy are proud parents of two sons and enjoy staying active together as a family.

Dr. Nancy Garwah D.C
Dr. Nancy Garwah completed her Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Toronto. After graduating, she spent a year practicing in Australia before returning to Canada to build a practice alongside her husband, Dr. Chris Garwah. Together they owned and operated chiropractic clinics in Dawson Creek, BC for nearly two decades before moving to the Okanagan and joining NuVista Chiropractic and Wellness in 2017.
With more than 25 years of experience in practice, Dr. Nancy brings a thoughtful and experienced approach to patient care. She focuses on helping patients improve posture, restore mobility, and support the long-term health of their spine and nervous system. Her care combines hands-on adjustments, muscle therapy, and personalized homecare exercises designed to help patients move well and stay active in their daily lives.
Dr. Nancy is trained in Diversified spinal adjustments, Thompson Drop, Activator, Upper Cervical techniques, Webster Technique, and Shockwave Therapy. She also incorporates muscle therapy approaches including massage techniques, ART-style work, Graston, and PNF stretching when appropriate.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Nancy enjoys staying active and taking advantage of the Okanagan outdoors. You might find her downhill or cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, practicing yoga, golfing, or training at CrossFit.
